In the late summer of 2015, in a wheat field in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, Zoran, the founder of Yongagri, squatted on the cracked ridge. He twisted the already withered and yellow wheat stalks between his fingertips, while Bran, a farmer, complained hoarsely in his ear: "I've watered the field three times, but half of the wheat still died from drought. It's almost impossible to farm this land anymore!" Meanwhile, the first-generation soil moisture monitor purchased by the team had become almost a "decorative item" in the 200-mu experimental field due to unstable signals and large data errors.

Under the lamp in the farmyard that night, seven farmers gathered around a piece of paper covered with calculation formulas, and no one spoke. The corn that Bran had cooked for them in the early morning was still steaming. The chirping of crickets outside the window and the rumbling of the irrigation machine in the distance intertwined, forming the heaviest background sound. "We can't let farmers suffer in vain. We don't need 'good-looking machines'; what we need are tools that can be life-saving," someone said.

Later, Zoran found that the quality of smart agriculture products on the market was uneven. Many farmers would spend money on products that had no practical effect. Therefore, Zoran decided to personally lead a team to create good tools that could truly improve farmers' efficiency, increase yields, and save labor. Adhering to the original aspiration of "enabling every inch of land to yield a good harvest", Yongagri was born.
